Musichead Gallery will host a book signing for MC5: An Oral Biography of Rock’s Most Revolutionary Band and album release for MC5’s record Heavy Lifting. The night will include an author talk with co-authors Brad Tolinski and Jaan Uhelszki and refreshments.

Published by Hachette Book Group, MC5: An Oral Biography of Rock’s Most Revolutionary Band is a riveting account of the proto-punk Detroit rockers MC5, based on original interviews with the band and key members of their inner circle. The book’s release corresponds with the MC5’s new album Heavy Lifting, the band's first record in 53 years and featuring Tom Morello, Slash, Vernon Reid and original MC5 drummer Dennis ‘Machine Gun’ Thompson.

Tickets ($30) include:
