Nick Cave in Kilburn, London in July 1982.
David Corio recalls "The Birthday Party had recently moved to London from Australia and Nick Cave was just making a name for himself over here. I’d shot him a couple of times within the same week for different magazines and when he was with the band the biggest obstacle was how to get them out of their local Kilburn pub. On his own Nick Cave would ham it up for the camera and was darkly funny but could also be surprisingly shy and introspective compared to the energy and excitement he brought to his live shows."
