About the photographer
Chris Cuffaro is a renowned photographer celebrated for his iconic portraits of musicians that helped to define their public image. Chris's passion for music photography began in his Northern California teen years, shooting local rock shows. After moving to Los Angeles in the early 1980s, he went on to capture iconic artists like Jane’s Addiction, Pearl Jam, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nirvana, George Michael, Iggy Pop, No Doubt, Henry Rollins, Elvis Costello, Fiona Apple, and Soundgarden. His images have graced the covers of over 300 albums. His acclaimed Greatest Hits exhibitions continue to showcase his extensive career, and he remains a leading figure in entertainment photography.
