Grammy’s MusiCares: A Look Back, debuting at the Andaz West Hollywood on Sunset Blvd. is a new photography exhibition honoring MusiCares’ 2016 Person of the Year, Lionel Richie, and past honorees. Curated by us here at Mr Musichead Gallery, the exhibition’s unveiling reception and benefit on February 4th will kick off the 58th annual GRAMMY celebrations and gives visitors an intimate look back at MusiCares’ most rocking Persons of the Year including Stevie Wonder, Neil Young, Paul McCartney, and more.

Featured Artists include: Terry O’Neill, Al Satterwhite, Lisa Law, James Fortune, Guy Webster, Chris Walter, Allan Tannenbaum, & Sherry Rayn Barnett.

The works will be displayed at Andaz West Hollywood as part of the hotel’s rotating art program, Art Seen at Andaz. In a unique opportunity, hotel guests and neighbors will receive an up-close look at the stunning portraits on Thursday, February 4th from 7-9 PM. Guests will also receive a chance to give back. Proceeds from sales of the gallery pieces and limited edition prints will benefit MusiCares’ programs including financial, health, and welfare services for musicians.

Every year MusiCares honors a Person of the Year, commending musicians for their artistic achievements and their philanthropic contributions. We’ve chosen photographs that showcase these honorees at the height of their careers. We’re proud to celebrate these musicians through this photography display and donate to the Grammy’s MusiCares Foundation. We’ve partnered with MusiCares for the past 7 years. Each year we ask our visual artists to donate art to the MusiCares annual silent auction. This year, with this exhibition, we’re helping to raise awareness about the important work MusiCares does and donations for their cause.

The debut of “GRAMMY’S MusiCares: A Look Back”, will take place on Thursday, February 4th with a special reception from 7-9 PM at the Mezzanine at Andaz West Hollywood. The reception is open to guests, friends, and neighbors. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and wine will be served as well as a special live DJ set.
