Most people don’t fully let their guard down when a photographer aims their camera at them. The best photographers can capture their subject's private, inner world by connecting on a personal level or by having an expert eye trained to catch vulnerable moments. I love portrait images that capture the subject's direct gaze, allowing me to look into their eyes and connect with the soul behind them.
