About the photographer
Al Satterwhite began his career working as a photographer as a major daily newspaper in Florida. he later began work as a freelance magazine photographer. Over the next ten years he worked on assignment for almost every major magazine, like Time, People and Newsweek. He moved to New York City and started his own production company in 1980. He worked for the next 15 years in national and international advertising working for major clients such as Coca Cola, Universal Studios and Kodak. Satterwhite has published multiple books of his works and his prints are in the permanent collections of numerous prestigious museums.
