About the artist
Grace Slick, the iconic Queen of Acid Rock, helped define the 1960s counterculture with her fearless spirit and powerhouse vocals as the frontwoman of Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship, and Starship. After decades of rock stardom and a trail of top 40 hits, she retired from music in the 1990s to pursue her lifelong passion for painting, creating vivid works that explore everything from pop culture and politics to Alice in Wonderland. Now living by the ocean in Malibu, Grace continues to follow her curiosity—on her own terms.
