With Mother’s Day coming up this weekend, I wanted to answer the question: What is Mom Rock? Unlike Dad Rock, which tends to follow a familiar pattern of guitar-based rock, Mom Rock resists definition. It’s not about a specific sound or era. It’s the music that inspired kitchen dance parties, sing alongs in the car or that album played on repeat for a feel good moment.
