About the photographer
Robert Knight is a legendary rock photographer whose career began in 1968. He is renowned for his "Guitar Legends" archive, featuring iconic shots of Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and more. Knight's work includes being the first to photograph Hendrix and Led Zeppelin's US debut, and he was the last to shoot Vaughan. He has collaborated with every major record label and magazine, contributing to rock history through his intimate and powerful images. Knight is also part of Guitar Center’s Hollywood RockWalk team, having inducted over 400 major artists since 1985. His life and work are celebrated in the 2009 documentary, "Rock Prophecies."
