Released in 1978, Some Girls found the Rolling Stones reinvigorated, blending their signature rock ’n’ roll grit with the pulse of disco and the raw energy of punk. Featuring the chart-topping hit “Miss You” alongside enduring classics “Beast of Burden,” “Shattered,” and “Respectable,” the album marked Ronnie Wood’s first as a full-time member and captured the band at a creative turning point. A commercial triumph that topped the US charts and became the Stones’ best-selling album in America, Some Girls remains one of their defining records of the late ’70s.
