About this album

Released in 1994, Hole’s Live Through This is a defining album of ’90s alternative rock, pairing Courtney Love’s raw, unflinching songwriting with distorted guitars and unforgettable melodies. From the explosive “Violet” to the vulnerable “Doll Parts,” the album confronts beauty, identity, and the expectations placed on women. A Platinum-certified classic, was included on  Rolling Stone's  500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
