    Ebet Roberts moved from Memphis to New York City to paint, turning to photography in 1977 as she began documenting the CBGB scene and going on to build a career capturing the essence of musicians across genres. Her work has been exhibited and published worldwide, and is held in major collections, spanning artists from Bob Marley and Bob Dylan to The Ramones, Talking Heads, and Miles Davis.
