Led Zeppelin IV is the band’s fourth studio album, released on November 8, 1971, by Atlantic Records. Produced by Jimmy Page, it was recorded between December 1970 and February 1971, primarily at the country estate Headley Grange. The album contains one of the band's best-known recordings, the eight-minute-long "Stairway to Heaven".

A major critical and commercial success, the album has sold over 37 million copies worldwide, making it the band’s best-selling release and one of the best-selling albums of all time. It is consistently ranked among the greatest albums ever made.
