Canadian poet, novelist, and composer-musician Leonard Cohen is pictured here from August, 1967. Already known for his poetry and fiction, “Born Losers” had been released in 1966, Cohen had just made his musical debut at the Newport Jazz Festival and was following that with a series of concerts in New York City.
