Archival Pigment Print - Hand Signed
As detailed in his book Patti Smith: American Artist, photographer Frank Stefanko became fascinated with Patti Smith after she caught his eye in South Jersey. He described her as “mosey[ing] in like the bad guy walking into a saloon in an old Western movie." Stefanko would go on to document Smith and her artistic evolution throughout the 70s and 80s.
