Lance Mercer is a Seattle-based photographer who began documenting the Pacific Northwest music scene as a teenager and went on to tour as the official photographer for Pearl Jam from 1992 to 1995, capturing defining images of the era and artists including Malfunkshun, Mother Love Bone, Soundgarden, Mudhoney, and Alice in Chains.
