About this photograph
"Todd was the first person I knew with hair dyed different colors. It was all part of an androgynous style he picked up in London, where rock and rollers went to this salon on King's Road and hung out at the boutique Granny Takes A Trip. It seemed like lots of heterosexual rock stars cloaked themselves in bisexuality. More male rockers knew how to do makeup on themselves than female artists, and their stage clothes consisted of costumes that gave them glam-rock cachet." - Lynn Goldsmith
